Common questions

I paid but the campaign does not show it. M-Pesa confirmations can take a minute. If it has not appeared after ten minutes, the payment was not completed and nothing was charged; try again. Card payments show once the bank confirms them, usually within a minute.

How do payouts work? In Kenya, the organiser withdraws to M-Pesa from the app, or eligible balances go out automatically each morning. mPawa keeps 2.5%. For US campaigns, Stripe pays the organiser's bank account on its own schedule after each gift.

Someone posted something inappropriate. Long-press the message in the group chat and choose Report, or tap Report under a guest book message. Organisers are told immediately and can remove it. You can also block a member.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Delete account. Your name, number and email are removed and you are signed out. Gifts you gave stay on the campaigns as "Deleted user" because organisers need their records.

Without the app: email [email protected] with the phone number on the account. We confirm by SMS to that number and delete within 30 days.

If you organise an open campaign, close it first so money already raised can still be paid out.
